Our Gemns™ technology uses kinetic energy, the power of your touch, to generate enough energy to control lights wirelessly, without ever needing a battery or a power cord. With a press of a button, or flip of a rocker, our energy harvesting generators create power on the spot. That energy is used to send a wireless signal to turn on the lights, change the brightness, adjust color temperature, or control multiple lights from a single switch.

Why Energy Harvesting Changes Everything
Every year, billions of batteries are thrown away, many from wireless controls and remotes. By harvesting motion instead of relying on batteries, we eliminate the waste, the cost, and the frustration of dead remotes and hard-to-reach battery compartments.
Gemns goes even further, our harvesters collect more energy than others; 2 to 8 millijoules per press, compared to 0.1 to 1 mJ in typical battery-free systems. That means more reliable signals, support for two-way communication (your switch can listen for a response!), and even the ability to power extra features like touch sensors or dimmer sliders.

And for those building the systems behind the scenes, Gemns supports widely used wireless protocols like Zigbee, BLE, Thread, and even Matter. It’s platform-agnostic and optimized to work reliably even in noisy environments like warehouses or large commercial buildings.

- Rocker Switches: At CES 2025, we demoed a Zigbee-based rocker switch using our G200 generator. With one press, users could send a signal up to 30 times—ensuring it got through even in tough environments.
- Slide & Touch Controls: Imagine a wall switch with two sliders; one for brightness, one for color temperature, powered entirely by your finger. No batteries. No wiring. That’s the kind of control we’re designing today.
- Multi-Light Control: With multiple buttons and sliders on a single unit, you can control several lights with one panel. This cuts clutter and simplifying setup.
- Simple Toggles: Our G100 pushbutton lets users wirelessly toggle smart lights. Place them anywhere, hallways, garages, workspaces, and skip the expensive rewiring.
